gochargeit.com to authorize.net Gateway Conversion Steps

Step 1
Login to your gochargeit.com account and complete the requested form of information required by authorize.net. The form is presented at login.

Step 2
You will receive an email from authorize.net with the Subject: Welcome To Authorize.Net After reviewing the entire email, click the top most link to begin the authorize.net account setup process.

Step 3
Login to your new authorize.net account and discover your API Login ID and generate a Transaction Key. The API Login ID and the Transaction Key will be updated in your gochargeit.com account settings in step 4.

The steps to find your API Login ID and to generate your Transaction Key:

Log into the merchant's Authorize.Net account at: https://secure.authorize.net.
Click on Settings under Account in the main menu on the left.
From the Security Settings section, click API Login ID and Transaction Key.
Enter the Secret Answer to your account's Secret Question.
Click Submit.

Make note of or copy and paste your API Login ID and Transaction Key for entry in your gochargeit.com account.

Turn off Test Mode by clicking the link at the top right of your authorize.net control pages. Your transactions will not be live when your account is in Test Mode.

Step 4
Login into your gochargeit.com account and enter your authorize.net API Login ID and your Transaction Key from step 3.

eManager
At the top menu select: Configuration and Setup > Authorize.net Setup and click the Go button.

eTerminal only accounts
Configuration and Setup > Authorize.net Setup

Enter your API Login ID and Transaction Key in the appropriate fields and click Save Authorize.net Configuration

Step 5
gochargeit.com support will be notified of your API Login ID and Transaction Key entry. They will settle any open batch on the gochargeit.com system and switch your account to authorize.net processing.

Please Note
Once your account has been switched to authorize.net processing all voids, credits, pre-authorizations and post-authorizations will be conducted in your authorize.net account. Authorize.net will also handle settlement of all transactions processed through their gateway.
