Bulletin: February 5, 2010 Gochargeit.com Gateway Changes (Applies to all Merchants)
Due to increasing costs related to security mandates and a shift of focus here at eCommerce Tools we will be closing our gateway operations in three months, April 30, 2010. We are very grateful for your continued business over the years and have been working with authorize.net to provide you with a world class alternative gateway service. We are committed to minimizing the impact on your day to day business activities.
Please understand, there will be no change to the front end of your current eTerminal, eManager, Shopping Cart or remote interface operations. The backend processing will shift to authorize.net beginning on February 15, 2010. This shift will be behind the scenes of your current services with eCommerce Tools. While our operations will end on April 30, 2010 we are working on a means to keep all shopping cart systems running unchanged through December 2010.
Once your processing has been converted to authorize.net they will be the only party billing for your gateway services. We will bill a prorated amount for any partial month on our processing along with a one time $10.00 conversion fee to cover the authorize.net setup. The authorize.net gateway fee is $25.00/month and unlike us they charge a per transaction fee of .10 cents per transaction.
We chose to work with authorize.net as they are the premier gateway service on the internet. They have phone and email support and will be standing by to help through the transition and beyond.
The gateway conversion will be a two step processes. On or after February 15th you will receive an email with your new authorize.net account login information along with instructions for activating your new account. Once your authorize.net account has been activated you will notify us via a special button in your gochargeit.com account interface. Any current transactions will be settled and your account will be switched to authorize.net processing. The switch will occur behind the scenes and will not impact your current or future order taking or processing through your gochargeit.com account.
We are very grateful for your business over the years and look forward to working you with to make this transition a smooth one. You may contact us with any question via return email or phone. 877.235.8700
